What we love about this festival

If camping isn't your thing, then you can stay at a fantastic hotel called Ellenborough Park which is just a very short walk away from the festival via a private track. You can get from the festival to the hotel's front door in under 5 minutes. The hotel offers luxury accommodation with great views over the festival site.

Camping and Glamping Options

General camping facilities at Wychwood are good, with hot showers, a campsite shop and a lock up to store any valuables. The kind organisers even let you drive to your pitch at the end of the event to make it easier for you to pack away! There are also many glamping options in the form of tipis, yurts, bell tents and pre-erected tents.

Past lineups

Kids and families

This festival is very family friendly and the organisers are sympathetic to families with small children, who may want to bring a reasonable amount of food and drink into the arena. There is plenty for kids to do, including a kids' comedy club, a literary festival with authors and illustrators from many favourite characters and over 100 workshops and events.

A touch of luxury

Wychwood Festival

The Sunday Mirror has described the Wychwood festival as "Britain's most popular music festival" and The Independent as "The Best Festival for Families". We just have to agree. This is a lovely little festival, which is small enough to be intimate and inclusive and it really does have its own charm.

There aren't many small festivals which can boast such a fantastic line up, either; legends 10cc played there in 2016 and probably the biggest name in children's entertainment, Justin Fletcher, was there to ensure that all the little ones were kept beaming from ear to ear.

Other exciting spectacles include the silent disco (which is a must!), the numerous craft and literature workshops available and the comedy stage.
