Staycation Live is a free open-air concert with music and arts, run in association with Godalming Borough Council.
The music is energising, the atmosphere uplifting and 25% of the money donated goes straight to charity. In its first year, in 2011, Staycation raised over £1000 for Oxfam.
The beer tent and hog-roast are the perfect accompaniment to all that dancing (or foot-tapping, if that's more your style) and you can even bring your dog for company, as long as he's kept on a lead.
This festival is small enough to have a really personal feel to it and aside from feeling inspired by the music, you'll also feel good that you've helped make money for charity. While there is no camping on site, there are lots of hotels and guesthouses nearby, so you could make a weekend of it.
