What we love about this festival.

Dogs are welcome! There are even products and services to pamper and spoil your pooch and the Standon Calling Dog Show on Sunday afternoon.

Camping and Glamping Options

The festival is set in the lush grounds of Standon Lordship Manor House, so camping here is quite spectacular. As well as general camping, there is a family camping area, boutique camping options (Hotel Bell tent and Hearthworks) and the opportunity to upgrade to premium camping in an area called "Lavish Lands".

Past lineups

Suede, Jess Glynne, Kelis, The Hives, Theo Parish, Gold Panda, Everything Everything, Blossoms, Little Dragon, The Dandy Warhols, Basement Jaxx, Franck Turner and the Sleeping Souls, Public Enemy, Maximo Park, Digitalism, De La Soul, Bastille, Band of Skulls, Buena Vista Social Club.

Kids and families

The organisers' aim is for you and your family to be able to enjoy yourselves in all areas of the arena. However, the kids might particularly enjoy the swimming pool and the packed programme of workshops and performances especially for young ones from teens ot tots. There is also a babysitting service with Mortimer Nannies, should you want some "me" time!

A touch of luxury

The "Soulfull Sanctuary" is a wellness area with workshops and classes such as yoga and meditation. There are also treatments available such as massage, aromatherapy and reflexology. Why not also try an aura or tarot card reading?

Standon Calling

Standon Calling was nominated for no fewer than three festival awards in 2016. This independent festival is more of a summer themed party and offers a mix of big names but also some emerging talent in the music business.

The theme for 2016 was "Legend of the Lost Seas" and festival-goers relished donning their ingenious creations, from mermaids to lobsters, to participate in the dancing and games. We particularly like the bar in an old oak tree and the array of stalls, such as vintage clothing and local produce (the organisers try to make the festival as ethical as possible).

However, the main attraction is without doubt the big names that Standon Calling attracts each year; with the likes of Suede and The Hives headlining in 2016, setting the crowd on fire with their energetic and anthemic perfomances.
