The ultimate Motown diva and powerhouse Martha Reeves and the Vandellas headline the Emporium stage on the Friday night. With over 26 charted hits, 10 of which are in the top 10 Billboard R&B singles chart.
‘The Real Thing’ will be bringing back the disco to Devon on the Emporium stage on Saturday 7th July! After the sudden and sad loss of Eddie Amoo at the end of February, brother Chris and Dave Smith will be gracing the stage to continue the music in his memory. “You To Me Are Everything” being one of the biggest classic dance hits of all time, they plan to have the Glas-Denbury fields movin’ and groovin’.
The legendary Basil Brush will be on site on Saturday 7th July for shows and selfies galore. The BBC Introducing in Devon Stage this year introduces some of the brightest stars of the future; Ethyrfield, Pattern Pusher, Double Denim, Yazzy, Tors, The Strange and the Beautiful, Datura Roots Collective, The Kaizens, David Smale.
AWARD WINNING FESTIVAL
Glas-Denbury was recently awarded a Bronze in the South West Tourism awards for Festival of the Year 2017/2018 and a Silver in the Visit Devon Tourism awards for Festival of the Year 2017. Glas-Denbury’s ethos is providing a “Platform for Passion” and giving opportunity to new talent, whether that be in music, the arts or business.
The whole event is self-funded, using 100% South West suppliers, food and drink with a line up of almost 100% artists, entertainers and workshops.
Camping is available on site with gates open from 2pm Friday 6th July through to 4pm Sunday 8th July. The arena opens Friday at 5pm and all day Saturday. Glamping is also available, either in beautiful Lotus Bell Tents by Wild Hare Events or the stunning handmade Yurts by Yurts for Life; both South West based companies.
