BBC Countryfile Live is adding to the summer fun with an all new musical stage as the best summer day out in the UK returns to Blenheim Palace for a third year in a row from 2nd to the 5th of August.
Headlined by the UK’s biggest selling country act of all time, The Shires, as well as acoustic guitar virtuoso Newton Faulkner and London-based country folk duo Ferris & Sylvester, the Countryfile Live Summer Party, sponsored by Kuoni, takes place on Saturday 4th August from 6pm – 9pm with tickets going on sale on Monday 21st of May at 10am.
Hosted by BBC Radio 2 legend Bob Harris, the Countryfile Live Summer Party will be the perfect way to enjoy a summers evening in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, with an array of bars and a huge variety of tasty street food on offer.
Countryfile Live offers four days of live arena shows, hands-on activities, farm-animal demonstrations, debates, food, drink and shopping from over 500 independent retailers and lifestyle brands. The show brings together everything there is to cherish about the British countryside, in the grounds of the famous stately home.
The National Trust debate theatre and the Quilter Cheviot Theatre have a full line-up each day with interesting debates, talks and ‘Audiences With…’ on a wealth of topics; from how to achieve success, the future of farming, photography workshops and even what it takes to become an astronaut.
With upwards of 30 stages and features ranging from Family Fishing in the River Glyme to the Equine Arena, the STIHL Timbersports British Championships, Dog Lovers’ Arena, BBC Introducing Stage, Wildlife Zone, Countryfile Kitchen Stage and even a Mitsubishi Off-Road Driving Experience, there’s certainly something for everyone at Countryfile Live.
