Earlybird Tickets are on-sale now for Lemonfest 2018! Taking place across two-days in a stunning part of South Devon, Lemonfest is back on 8th -9th June 2018.
We experienced this popular independent, boutique festival last year and saw first-hand how it has fully earned its reputation as a proper 2 day party to kick-start the festival season. A grass-roots, independent festival, Lemonfest remains 100% self-funded by the two founders, who are childhood friends. The weekend offers an eclectic mix of
entertainment, split across 5 different stages and tents, whilst an array of bars and food stalls sell irresistible local and international produce.
Lemonfest organisers have just announced that Legendary U.S Rappers The Sugarhill Gang, Slamboree, and disco stalwart’s
Crazy P are to perform at the 2018 edition of the festival.
The world famous New Jersey hip-hop act, best known for their timeless hit Rapper’s Delight, will be topping an eclectic bill of
music. Expect a celebration of all things old-school hip hop from the iconic act in what is going to be a full-on party set from start to finish.
Recently described as a mash up of Basement Jaxx and The Rocky Horror Picture Show performing at The Moulin Rouge, festival favourites Slamboree are one of a kind. They will be co-headlining the Friday night opening party on the main stage with Crazy P, who are renowned as having one of the best live dance music shows on the planet and will bring some serious slinky underground Disco vibes.
Also announced so far are Krafty Kuts, who’s set will feature a guest performance from none other than the illustrious Jurassic 5’s Chali2NA, who also recently collaborated on a number of songs with them. London’s favourite 8-piece brass act the Hackney Colliery Band will bring their innovative brand of jump up and down covers to Saturday afternoon, as well as critically acclaimed Devon folkstresses Sound of the Sirens. Other acts announced include: Afrikan Boy, Rinse:It, Pattern Pusher, Bert Miller, Datura, Orlata & Red
Right Hand… plus many more to be added.
Organiser, Matt Freemantle, boasts, "To say we’re excited about having some genuine, bonafide hip-hop legends at this years’ festival would be an understatement. This year’s ethos is all about fun, and bags of it. We’re planning on creating one huge party atmosphere from start to finish. We can’t wait to share more acts and surprises with you.”
