9th-10th June 2018

Newton Abbot is served by an extensive motorway network. Well signposted, the racecourse is just a short drive from Exeter and the M5. There is ample free parking available in the centre of the racecourse.

Car parking is available on-site for a cost of £2 for the duration of the event, and opens for cars at 10.30am. The nearest train station is Newton Abbot – which is about a 10-15 minute walk from Newton Abbot Racecourse site. Both National Express and Megabus run coaches to the Pen Inn Roundabout stop, about a 20 minute walk from the festival site.

3, 000 capacity per day

Now taking place across two-days for the first time ever, Lemonfest returns to Newton Abbot Racecourse on 9th-10th June for it’s 8th year. The fiercely independent festival has a rapidly growing reputation, and remains 100% self funded by the two founders - who are childhood friends. An eclectic mix of entertainment is split across 6 stages, whilst an array of bars and food stalls sell irresistible local produce from around the West Country.

This is a perfect festival if you are looking for a fun-packed, yet hassle-free weekend. It is small enough to be very friendly and welcoming but still draws big names, such as this year's awesome Saturday headliner, We Are Scientists.

What we love about this festival.

The silent disco and late night bar to keep campers entertained!

Camping and Glamping Options

There is a general camping area adjacent to the festival site, with good facilities. Campers must leave the site by midday on Sunday. There are also many bed & breakfast and boutique guest house options in Torquay (15 mins by Taxi or Car) or Teignmouth (10 mins by Taxi or Car)

Failing that, subject to availability, there is a Premier Inn slap bang next to the Racecourse, literally a 2-3 minute walk from our site. Or a little further away lies the Passage House Inn, which has a Restaurant and Pub attached, with beautiful views out on to the River Teign.
