Lakefest will showcase its 6th festival in 2017 with a "Go Hawaiian" fancy dress theme. Originating as a giant cider festival with over 32 different ciders, this impressive festival has grown from these humble beginnings to now attracting some of the most impressive line-ups in the UK, especially for a festival of its size. Despite growing in terms of the punch it now packs, Lakefest still basically works from the same formula; a party organised by a group of friends dubbed "the lads". The premise is a focus on legacy and memories rather than financial gain, something which is clearly reflected in the ticket price. It's also reassuring to know that part of the profits go to the charity Stay Strong. So, if you want to experience something special and intimate, laugh, dance, drink and spend time with your friends and family and still -  quite rarely for an event this size we think - see some huge names in live music, then Lakefest is just for you.

It has definitely been one of the success stories of emerging festivals over the past few years and offers an experience which will remind you of everything that is good about the human spirit.

What we love about this festival.

The consistently momentous lineups, magical scenery, clean toilets and the fact that you can even bring your best friend - your dog! Is this festival for real?!

Camping and Glamping Options

You can bring your live-in vehicle and there are even electric hook ups on offer. General camping is for families or groups and there is the option to glamp in the "Kings and Queens" area. This offers free parking, luxury toilets, hot showers, pamper parlour and accommodation in tipis with furnishing packages.

Past lineups

Primal Scream, We are Scientists, The Coral, Newton Faulkner, Starsailor, Molotov Jukebox, Embrace, Ash, Billy Bragg, The Magic Numbers, Shed Seven, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Cast, Ocean Colour Scene, Levellers, Athlete, Reef, EMF, Dodgy, Top Loader, Wurzels.

Kids and families

This is a very child friendly festival. It won "Best Small Festival" in 2015 in the Festival Kidz awards. Expect plenty to keep your child entertained in a caring, fun environment. There's even the "Lil' Lakes Creche" in case you want to sneak off for a boogie and drink on your own!

A touch of luxury

There are some spa facilities on offer and the glamping option is certainly for you if you prefer to festival in luxury.
