Field Day celebrated its 10th birthday in 2016, as one of London's best alternative music festivals. Expect some great acts ranging from James Blake, to the likes of Franz Ferdinand, along with a crowd that's determined to party hard.

Although this June festival, set in a well positioned area of London's green land, is predominantly about music, there is also a village fair feel about the event. You'll find many families going along for the fun as well as performers. There is plenty of diverse food and drink, a brass band, a coconut shy, welly throwing, barn dancing and Morris dancing, too.

Although there is no camping on offer at this festival, it is possible to purchase weekend tickets, so you could combine it with a trip to London.

What we love about this festival.
