Every year, you will find one of the UK's best jazz festivals taking place in beautiful Cheltenham. "If someone doesn't get jazz, how do you woo them towards enjoying it? The Cheltenham Jazz Festival", says a journalist from The Times.  Every year, expect a programme packed with jazz and blues legends, superstar international acts and outstanding emerging talent. Hosted in a tented festival village, with the Big Top stage and the Jazz Arena offering some of the most popular performances, there is also an outstanding food and drink and market area. The Cheltenham Jazz festival also uses nearby venues, the Parabola Arts Centre, Cheltenham Town Hall and the Daffodil Restaurant. Jazz in the Gardens is another feature of this festival, offering free outdoor music and a place to soak up the spectacular festival atmosphere. Conveniently, this all takes place over the May bank holiday weekend.

Cheltenham also hosts another music festival in July, a science festival in June and a literature festival in October. Around town is another feature of this festival, offering free outdoor music in Montpellier Gardens with a place to soak up the spectacular festival atmosphere and bringing more than 60 free live gigs to Cheltenham’s streets, pubs and cafés.Festival Paradise has more details on Cheltenham Music Festival here.
