Alfresco, Tunbridge Wells, is fast becoming one of the South East's favourite boutique festivals. 2019 will see the 4th edition of this festival, with a location move to the larger site, the Hop Farm. The Kent countryside will host at least six stages of Balearic, Disco, Acid House, Electronica, Funk, Hip Hop, House and Reggae, a variety of street foods, bars and a family arena. Showcasing a world class line-up of top underground electronic DJs and live acts, and simultaneously showcasing itself as a family friendly festival, it really is one of a kind. There are activities and attractions for festival goers of all ages, with at least 6 stages and a top notch family arena. Across the weekend, expect a mix of Balearic disco, acid house, electronica, funk, hip hop, house and reggae, as part of a line up that is curated by organisers who are clearly passionate about music. All this adds up to a festival feeling more "real" than some of its contemporaries.

The idea of family clubbing, may not immediately be regarded as a winning formula, but Alfresco has pioneered in this field to prove that this can be a huge success.

What we love about this festival.

The great range of electronic music and Djs on offer while still being a top-notch family event.

Camping and Glamping Options

All campsites are no more than a few minutes' walk away from the stages. All have their own toilets and shower facilities and even an off licence (how handy is that?!) Motor home pitches with electrical hook-up are also available. There are plenty of glamping options with luxury bell tents starting from £175 for the weekend.

Past lineups

Wolfgang Flur (Kraftwerk), Paranoid London, Optimo, Gerd Jansen, Psycherrajik.

Kids and families

The family arena has giant games and toys and is open from 9am every day. There is also face painting, a roller disco, crafts, sewing, hula hooping, story telling, theatre, workshops, balloon shaping, DJ classes and vintage funfair stalls.

A touch of luxury

Why not pimp your festival experience with an upgrade to a glamping option with luxury bedding?
